Catalog description

This course defines and profiles EHS management within the organization and presents fundamentals of how organizations manage EHS issues. Students will explore EHS management history, motivations, and strategies; and will apply a systems approach for managing an organization's EHS aspects, risks and opportunities consistent with international EHS standards. Students will examine management system actions to address risks and opportunities, including controls, training, communication, and reporting; and will investigate the elements and implications of an organization’s EHS vision and policy statement. Students may not take and receive credit for this course if they have already taken ESHS-680 .
