Catalog description

Historical as well as modern accident and incident causation models and theories will be covered. Students will learn how to identify and prevent unsafe acts and conditions that can lead to accidents and incidents. The application of management system controls, including operational controls to prevent accidents and incidents, will be reviewed. In addition, students will learn how to investigate accidents and incidents. They will also learn how to develop accident and incident investigation written programs.
