Catalog description

This course serves College of Engineering Technology (CET) Honors Students and provides an overview of careers and fields for CET graduates. This course highlights key areas in which CET students may pursue professional opportunities and includes networking with alumni and RIT partners in various careers. Students see first-hand how companies large and small address product and service development for domestic and global marketplaces. Additionally, students learn how CET professionals address societal challenges and how they can positively impact the world through their work. Students must participate in a week-long professional engagement trip over Spring Break to receive full credit. The course will culminate in a final presentation in which students showcase what they learned about the various career paths available to College of Engineering Technology majors.
