Catalog description

In this course, students acquire the listening, note-taking and discussion skills necessary for academic classwork. Students learn the conventions of academic discussion in order to question, analyze and respond to authentic listening material. Students learn to effectively present with a clear point of view, incorporating appropriate sources.
