Catalog description

In this multi-level course, students will practice a variety of grammatical structures used in academic discourse (both spoken and written) for specific rhetorical purposes. Students will practice daily selected grammar structures such as different sentence structures, clauses, sentence starters, and phrasal verbs to achieve a desired communicative outcome in a variety of short, focused spoken and written tasks. Students will also receive feedback from the instructor and peers on their completed written and spoken assignments in order to edit and revise their work.
