Catalog description

This course focuses on the language used in US college classrooms. Students will examine and identify language structures and academic vocabulary common in such academic activities such as a course syllabus, introductory reading texts, course assignments, and written and spoken presentations. Students will learn about and discuss the expectations of US college classes, especially for those university courses they are currently enrolled in.
