Catalog description

This course is designed to allow economics students who are in the Honors Program to conduct independent research under the guidance of a faculty mentor. Prior to enrollment in this course the student must submit a research proposal and the name of the proposed faculty mentor to the economics department for approval. Once approved, the faculty mentor in consultation with the student will determine the number of credit hours which will be assigned to the course. The completed research project will be presented at the annual Economics/Public Policy Undergraduate Research Conference.
