This course addresses the chemistry of water and its analysis, which includes: pH; alkalinity; acidity; fluoride; chloride; phosphate; biochemical oxygen demand; chemical oxygen demand, nitrogen; metals; radioactivity; residual chloride; chlorine demand; measurement of solid matter in industrial wastes and sludges; and trace contaminants.
