Catalog description

This course continues the development of American Sign Language skills for students who have successfully completed Introduction to American Sign Language and Deaf Culture I. The course focuses on ASL vocabulary, linguistic features, and cultural protocols to enable students to function in survival level ASL conversations with a focus on work-related and social communication. Students learn to talk about when activities occur, make requests, and discuss weather conditions, daily routines, and health.
