Mobile Crane Operator Beginner

Catalog description

Class is subject to cancellation based on minimum enrollment requirements. This course is designed for the beginner crane operator. The course will prepare candidates for a position as a fixed cab mobile crane operator and includes a nationally recognized crane operator certification by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO). The course includes a combination of classroom training and extensive hands-on training on the basics of operation, OSHA regulations, load charts and skill building exercises. Approximately 50 hours of hands-on crane operation will be included. Course includes NCCCO exam preparation and practice exams as well as the practical exam administered for a fixed cab telescopic boom mobile crane.
