Catalog description

Class is subject to cancellation based on minimum enrollment requirements. This course covers the concepts of 2G (Horizontal Groove Weld) which is welding when the joint is vertical, but the welding is performed horizontally, meaning the welder works from the front of the joint. This course also covers 3G (Vertical Groove Welding) which is welding when the joint is vertical, and the welding is performed vertically, with the welder typically working from the bottom of the joint at a 45-degree angle.
