Catalog description

The purpose of this class is to increase knowledge and understanding of life-span development from the physical, cognitive, and socioemotional perspectives. Age-related changes in behavior and mental processes will be covered for the following developmental periods: prenatal, infancy, early, middle, and late childhood, adolescence, and early, middle, and late adulthood. Knowledge of the scientific method and the evaluation of research and theory which pertains to developmental psychology is emphasized in this course. This course includes a fee for learning materials
