Introduces the fundamentals of nutrition and analysis of the relationship between nutrient intake and health maintenance and wellness for all age groups. Includes normal nutrition, the modification of the principles of normal nutrition for therapeutic purposes, and the role of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, mineral, and water in health maintenance and wellness.
