Intro to Electrical Technology

Catalog description
Provides students with an occupational overview of the electrical industry and includes safety for electricians, an introduction to electrical circuits, electrical theory, the National Electrical Code®, types of electrical boxes, conduit bending, raceways and fittings, conductors and cables, electrical drawings and site plans, residential wiring, and electrical test equipment. Successful completion of the course requires a student to achieve a minimum score of 70% on written exams and to pass the performance profile for each course module. This course requires a lab fee and a fee for module exams.
