Catalog description

Civil litigation responsibilities of the paralegal in the areas of discovery, depositions, pretrial, and post-trial procedures. Includes preparation of clients, witnesses, and exhibits for the courtroom. Also covers responsibilities of the paralegal in the evidentiary phase of trial, post-trial, and the appeals process in addition to collection and enforcement of judgments. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in PAR112, or permission of Program Director.
