This course will delve into the non-artistic side of a theatre career, addressing topics such as budgeting, artist statements, grant writing, contracts, unions, networking, etiquette, taxes, theatre company structures, agents, managers, and how to navigate the entertainment market. The course will also touch on strategies for physical and mental self-care with the goal of providing a bedrock for both a successful and sustainable career.
