Catalog description

This course provides students with the foundation for understanding and responding to survivors of crime. It provides students with the core introductory victim advocacy concepts through an NACP pre-approved training curriculum and is ideal for anyone interested in supporting survivors. The course utilizes a blended learning modality to ensure students receive 40 hours of instruction in the core topics and is delivered in-person and supported by online materials and activities. Upon completion of this course, students may submit a copy of their transcript and apply to the National Advocacy Credentialing Program (NACP) for the provisional “A” license.
