Catalog description

This course will amplify the dynamic changes and deep challenges found in American society, politics, culture, and foreign policy in the years between 1918 and 1945. We will examine topics like America’s purpose in WWI, immigration, antiradicalism, the “roaring twenties,” the Harlem Renaissance, consumer culture, the Great Depression, the rise of unions, the New Deal, and the foreign and domestic juggernaut that was WWII.
