Advanced Editing and Post Production

Catalog description

This course builds on the foundational Editing and Post-Production course and offers a deeper dive into the art and technique of editing for film and television. Students will develop advanced editing skills, experiment with genre and structure, and gain fluency in visual effects workflows, sound editing, and color correction. A major emphasis will be placed on storytelling, scene construction, and creative collaboration. Adobe Premiere will be the primary editing platform, with additional work in After Effects. Pre-requisite(s): FTV 305 with minimum grade C.
