Catalog description
Students work under the supervision of English faculty and on-site supervisors to complete real- world assignments in writing, publishing, and cinema studies. Their performance is assessed by professional standards. A minimum of 48 hours of field work per credit is required. Students report to faculty and on-site supervisors regularly, submit all work required by on-site supervisors, maintain a log, and complete a final report. Available to English majors/minors/certificate students only. One internship may be scheduled in a semester, and up to 8 credits of internship may count toward graduation. Approval of the faculty sponsor, department chair, and CAS dean's office is required.
