Creative Writing: Fanfiction and Transformative Works

Catalog description

Students will study the concept of transformative literature, and its place both in and as a challenge to the literary canon. We will read a variety of transformative works, across modalities, and students will have the opportunity to study theoretical concepts, as well as apply those concepts in the creation of their own transformative works.
