Catalog description

This course introduces software engineering ideas and concepts in the context of the software development life cycle. The course will discuss fundamental methodologies of software engineering, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Unified Modeling Language (UML), which is a modeling language in the field of software engineering. It also concentrates on the five major phases of the SDLC: requirements engineering, requirements analysis, design, coding/implementation, and testing. Students will also learn about project management which is used for delivering high-quality software that satisfies customer needs and budgets.
