Clinical Consultation in Dance/Movement Therapy II

Catalog description

This course builds on Clinical Consultation I, emphasizing trauma-informed and anti-oppressive perspectives. Students will explore research and practice models that examine the role of body-based interventions for individuals and groups affected by trauma, integrating theories with clinical applications relevant to their internship sites. Additionally, the course will support students in developing their emerging professional identities in preparation for their future practice. Classes will include experiential processes, facilitation practice, didactic discussions, case discussions, site visits, and group supervision.
