Catalog description

A practicum for VMAP majors working in or across the broad field of artists’ film and video, including experimental film, video art, documentary, alternative/community media, animation, or media installation that resists conventions and ideologies of mainstream media. In addition to studio practice, students participate in all aspects of the Frames of Reference annual program of artists’ film and video. Intended to serve as a springboard for professional practice post-graduation.
