Catalog description
Study of principles and application of psychology to the design of products, services, and systems across domains such as technology, healthcare, transportation, and architecture. Investigates the principles and methods of human factors psychology and human-centered design, highlighting the importance of optimizing system or product use with consideration to human needs, well-being, cognitive capabilities, and limitations. Students will critically analyze and contribute innovatively to the creation of user-friendly, efficient, and safe products and environments. Offered once a year.
