Catalog description

Practical learning experiences designed to sharpen written and oral communications skills. Addresses various forms of written and oral communications designed to inform, convince, and persuade: professionalism of written communications, communications planning, and the appropriateness of various media for conveying information. Capstone Consulting Project is a field-based project in which students create recommendations to address a strategic challenge facing a host organization. Presentation of analysis and recommendations both orally and in writing and an implementation plan including implications of recommendations for the host organization.
