Examines financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, project analysis, capital budgeting, and forecasting. Study of theory and practice of corporate finance with special emphasis on the evaluation and financing of capital expenditures. Covers debt versus equity financing. Development of evidence-based recommendations to improve a firm's financial performance; applicaiton of analytic techniques to extract insights from data converting it to information for decision-making. Makes extensive use of Microsoft Excel.
