A selection of analytical, historical, archival, and fictional texts exploring the various processes that led to the construction of Brazil's capital city Readings and discussions in English; students may opt to register for a C-LAC component in basic Portuguese language. Elective credit for LALIS major/minor granted only with completion of a corresponding C-LAC component.
