Catalog description

The goal of this seminar is to introduce law students to the prosecutor’s role in the criminal legal system. The topics we cover include the history of public prosecutions, the prosecutor’s role in the investigative and adjudicative phase of a case, the prosecutor’s ethical obligations, the progressive prosecution movement, and current events involving the prosecution function.
