Catalog description

Development of aural, oral, and written communication skills through the study and/or performance of artistic forms created in the Spanish-speaking world. Special attention will be given to the discussion of social, cultural, historical, and political aspects of the artistic works studied, as well as their genre-specific characteristics. LAIS 300-309 are Spanish language courses and, therefore, are generally not open to students with very advanced Spanish proficiency. Contact the professor for cases requiring special permission.
