Catalog description

Advanced beginner's course is designed for students who took 1-3 years of Spanish in the past and now need a review of elementary Spanish before continuing on to Spanish 221. This need should be established by a placement exam, because many students are ready for 221 without the review course. The course will concentrate on the fundamentals of the Spanish grammar system as applied to the skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Taught in Spanish, with two additional weekly practice sessions.
