Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) framework used in auditor certification is examined in detail. Covers the roles and responsibilities of the information security auditor, discusses topics students need to become certified auditors, and helps them prepare for certification. Effects of emerging technology, such as cloud computing and server virtualization, are discussed in the context of the information systems audit.
