Catalog description

Provides an overview of the history of Virginia from earliest habitation to the present and follows the curriculum framework for Virginia Studies. Participants will work with the staff of the Virginia Historical Society and outside pedagogical specialists and engage the topic through lectures, discussions of readings, written exercises, workshops, and interactive gallery activities. Class will be held at the Virginia Historical Society.
