Catalog description

Introduces students to key topics in behavioral economics, with a focus on experimental methods. Behavioral economics blends economics and psychology to examine the decision-making processes of economic agents and the systematic ways in which they deviate from rationality. In taking this course, students will explore the causes and consequences of these deviations using theoretical, empirical, and experimental evidence. Students will also develop a research project, posing a question and proposing an experiment.
