Catalog description

Builds on the foundations of Composition, as well as the other courses in the major. Student choreographer develops a fully produced work culminating in a public performance. Department of Theatre and Dance faculty co-mentor the student choreographer through the collaborative creative process, which includes developing a concept for the piece, making effective music choices, collaborating with designers (costume, lighting, sound and scenic), and working efficiently and creatively with dancers in rehearsal.
