Catalog description

& Spring In this course, Relay students will expand their knowledge of key content and pedagogical approaches in English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. They will build pedagogical content knowledge about planning and facilitating discussion-based learning experiences across content areas. Relay students will also further their skills in collecting and analyzing formative assessments during and after lessons. They will then develop action plans in response to formative assessment data to support their middle school students’ development. Relay students will apply their content understanding as they identify and address student misconceptions. In addition, Relay students will consider how they will integrate technology to support and enhance their students’ learning and development.
