& Spring In this course, Relay students will build upon their understanding of backward planning and English language arts instructional methods. They will explore the nuances of these strategies, intentionality, and on-your-feet instructional adjustments that result in a truly rigorous, effective ELA classroom for all learners. Relay students will learn how to strategically plan and execute high-leverage ELA instructional strategies of discourse and writing and understand how to analyze data to inform instructional decisions. Relay students will learn how to evaluate resources, incorporate checks for understanding to collect in-the-moment data, and plan from formative assessment data. 77
