Catalog description

& Spring In this course, Relay students will learn more about their school community with the goal of creating partnerships with community assets that will support students as learners within the context of their community. First, Relay students will engage in a deep study of community history, strengths, and assets. Using participant action research methods, they will identify a community asset to partner with on a project relevant to their classroom teaching, learn more about the organization through observation and/or interview, and create a plan for collaboration.
