Catalog description
This course is designed to engage students in critical thinking, communication, and collaboration about mathematics skills necessary for success in teaching in an elementary school classroom. Students will explore topics related to three different categories: number and operations, algebraic thinking, and geometry, data, and probability. Satisfactory completion of this course will help prepare students for success on the state-mandated Praxis Elementary Education 5003 exam. Corequisites: MR 102, MR 103
