Introduction to English Language Learners

Catalog description

Students will explore effective ways to support English language learners in our increasingly diverse population of young children and families. Students will consider language and speech development from both an English and dual-language learner perspective, as well as the promotion of supportive environments and activities. Additionally, students will consider how personal biases may influence interactions and behavior towards children and families of English language learners.
