Major drug classifications, as well as principles of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics are explored for medications affecting the body systems. Legal, ethical, and professional considerations surrounding medication administration are explored. Resources needed for safe medication preparation and administration, as well as principles of professional communication related to client safety, are presented.
