Emphasis is on the evaluation of these methods and tools in demonstrating the outcomes and effectiveness in improving patient care, quality of services, safety, reduction of risk, disease management processes, and utilization and resource management. Students explore the role and impact of governing and accrediting bodies on healthcare quality initiatives.
