Catalog description
This course is a comprehensive approach to supporting children with exceptional needs. Content will explore the importance of caring for all children with exceptional needs; including diagnosed and undiagnosed special needs, children who are gifted, neurodivergent, and dual-language learners. Supporting and advocating for the needs of children and their families will be addressed along with an exploration of the history, laws and provisions supporting children with special needs in group childcare and education settings.
