Catalog description

This course develops the ability to use arithmetic and basic algebra and trigonomenty with emphasis on skills utilized in technical and/or industrial fields. Topics include, but are not limited to, basic mathematical operations, computations with significant figures and scientific notation, fractions, algebra, equations, right triangle trigonometry and their applications. Upon completion, students should be able to utilize mathematical applications to solve problems in the technical and/or industrial fields.
