Catalog description

This course introduces a systematic approach to addressing performance and behavioral qualities that are needed for efficient problem-solving outcomes. Emphasis is placed on applying a Lean 8-step Problem Solving process; developing a customer first philosophy involving all stakeholders; demonstrating key attributes of an effective team member, including professionalism, teamwork and communication skills. Upon completion, students should be able to effectively apply the Lean 8-step Problem Solving Process and exhibit effective attributes of a productive team member in an advanced manufacturing setting.
