Catalog description

Instructional Method: Two hours lecture. Prerequisites: PTAS 149 . Corequisites: PTAS 151 . The student performs basic collection, interpretation, and appropriate documentation of patient care data within the Physical Therapist Assistant’s role. Areas of content include: goniometric measurement of joint range of motion, manual muscle testing, balance measurement, pain assessment, functional assessments, and anthropometric measures.
