Foundational Physical Therapy Interventions

Catalog description

Instructional Method: Two hours lab. Corequisites: PTAS 104 Students develop basic clinical skills utilized in physical therapy practice including: assessment of vital signs, principles of body mechanics, positioning, draping, transfers, gait training, wheelchair management, and basic exercise. Students also develop communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and other health care professionals.
