Instructional Method: Lecture Prerequisites: Admission into the Data and Information Management program, or permission of instructor. Advanced examination of the reliability, security and privacy issues in storage, transmission and processing of data. The course covers security of database management systems and the infrastructure on which they execute privacy issues and mechanisms that ensure reliability of enterprise database management systems.
