Problem Solving and Programming (GE)

Catalog description

Instructional Method: Two hours lecture; two hours laboratory. An introduction to problem solving using programming. Topics include a survey of techniques used in problem solving, methods for representing the solution of a problem as an algorithm and the implementation of an algorithm as a computer program. REAL Area R Note(s): General Education and Scientific and Quantitative Reasoning designated course. Students that have earned credit for CS 120 cannot subsequently earn credit for ITEC 109. Students may not take ITEC 109 and CS 120 concurrently.
