Catalog description

Instructional Method: Three hourse lecture. Prerequisites: COMS 130 or CINE 110 or Permission of Instructor. Cross-Listed: CINE 320 . Exploration of animation studies. Students will look at different examples of animation from across various time periods and cultures. They will learn how to analyze animation in terms of its form and industry, as well as its connection to culture/society. Ultimately, students will learn how to see and analyze animation as a unique and powerful form of visual communication.
